Recurring payments

Below we explain how recurring payments work at Carbase.info, how they are announced, how they can be cancelled and which rules apply.

Basic terms

Seller is Jaromír Mindl – carbase.info
Customer means the person using the service (a subscription to reports and data).
Service means the carbase.info tariff (see pricing).
Recurring payments means payments for the service automatically charged to the customer’s payment card.

The system never charges more than the price of the selected tariff and only within its validity period. If the tariff changes, the amount and period adjust to the new service.

The customer gives consent for recurring payments with the first card payment.
The consent remains valid for the duration of service use or until recurring payments are cancelled upon request.
Seven days before each charge, the customer receives an invoice by e-mail with the price, date and a direct cancellation link.
After successful charging, the customer receives an e-mail invoice confirming the payment.
If payment fails, the customer receives an e-mail with instructions on how to pay the invoice another way.
The customer may use another card by paying the issued invoice with a different card before the charge date.
Recurring payment can be cancelled at any time by clicking the cancellation link in the invoice e-mail or by writing to podpora@carbase.info.

Recurring payments are technically handled by GoPay s.r.o., which provides secure online payment processing. Card data are processed only through the encrypted payment gateway. Carbase.info does not store card data.
