Terms and Conditions

These terms govern the use of Carbase.info services, especially access to public and paid data reports, account registration and related electronic services.

1. Who we are and what we provide

  • The service operator is Jaromír Mindl, VAT/ID 42900204, VAT number CZ7211073309, registered at Klešická 2643, 190 16 Prague 9, Czech Republic.
  • Carbase.info provides data tools for the Czech automotive market, including vehicle registration overviews, company search, VIN tools and related reports.
  • Some content is free; some is available after registration or an active subscription.

2. Contract conclusion

  • A contract is concluded by placing an order, registering, or activating paid access and confirming acceptance of these terms.
  • Before submitting an order, the customer confirms that the entered data are correct and agrees to the service terms and any recurring payments if applicable.
  • Access may be activated immediately or after payment processing / verification.

3. Account, access and security

  • Paid features are tied to the user account and e-mail address.
  • The customer must protect their login credentials and must not share them with unauthorized persons.
  • If access is lost or the e-mail changes, contact support at podpora@carbase.info.

4. Prices and payments

  • Prices are shown on the pricing page or in the order and may vary by product, subscription length or promotion.
  • Payments may be one-time or recurring. Recurring payments are always described in advance and require separate consent.
  • We do not process card data in our own system; processing is handled by the payment gateway over an encrypted channel.

5. Nature of the data and service limits

  • The data come from public registries, linked data sources and our own processing. Despite care, they may contain delays or inaccuracies caused by the original sources.
  • We do not guarantee that all information will always be complete, up to date or error-free, so it must always be assessed in context.
  • The outputs are intended for analytical, business and informational purposes, not as the only basis for legal or accounting decisions.

6. Misuse is prohibited

  • Automated excessive downloading, bypassing technical limits, unauthorized access attempts and other misuse are prohibited.
  • You may not share access with third parties beyond the agreed license or subscription scope.
  • We may restrict or terminate access without compensation in case of a breach.

7. Complaints, support and cancellation

  • If you have a problem with the service or payment, write to podpora@carbase.info.
  • If a paid service clearly fails within the agreed scope, we handle it individually according to the nature of the issue.
  • Access can be cancelled according to the plan type or payment method; the detailed process is described in the recurring payment and account information.

8. Liability and changes

  • We strive to keep the service available and accurate, but we are not liable for damage caused by source registry errors, third-party outages or incorrect use of the outputs.
  • We may update the terms from time to time; the new version is always published on this page.
  • The effective date of changes is the publication date of the new version unless stated otherwise.
