Guide

Company search by administrative area

A public guide to regional company search by region, district and municipality, and working with the resulting entity list.

01

Company search by administrative area

This public guide shows how to find economic entities by region, district, municipality and other geographical filters.

Use the tool to quickly prepare a regional company list. Select an area, then work with the entities within that selection.

Use the results for sales preparation, prospecting plans, regional market analysis or further data views in Carbase.info.

02

Regions, districts and municipalities

Start with a geographical selection, moving from a broad area to a more specific location.

Selecting a region narrows the remaining options to the relevant districts and municipalities, taking you quickly from a national view to a specific area.

The geographical filter helps limit results to companies of commercial or operational interest in that region.

03

Company list

Once you select an area, a list of matching economic entities appears.

The list contains companies and other economic entities with identification and address details. Depending on the available data, you can use the results for further analysis.

Use the results as a working list for sales outreach, market segmentation or a quick regional overview.

04

Links to vehicles

From a selected company, continue to other views of its vehicles and related data.

If a vehicle link is available for the entity, you can open its fleet and explore it in more detail.

This connection takes you from a regional list to practical sales context: which vehicles the company owns or operates and what potential it may offer.

05

Typical workflow

A typical session starts by selecting an area, continues with filtering the list and ends by opening company details.

First select a region, district or municipality. Then review the company list and sort or filter the results as needed.

For relevant entities, open their details or continue to company vehicles, contacts and other available information.

How to read the data

Owner and operator

Owner and operator are different roles and may be different companies. Check the selected role when reviewing a company fleet. A company’s association with a vehicle does not by itself prove direct ownership or an intention to buy or sell.

Registrations and unique vehicles

A registration count is not automatically a count of unique vehicles. The same vehicle may appear in different records or periods. Compare the same filters, period and counting method; a row count alone does not establish the number of unique VINs.

Data period and import date

The latest registration date, the period covered and the import time are different facts. The newest record alone does not prove that a whole month is complete. A last-verified-data label indicates a fallback result; a missing period is not a confirmed zero.
