Vehicle registry charts and data

A public guide to registration summaries, makes, models, regions, powertrains and further work with Carbase.info data tools.

01

Vehicle registry charts and data

This public guide explains what the vehicle registry overviews contain and how to interpret them before opening the dashboard.

Vehicle registry charts and data provide an introduction to the Czech market. You can see registration trends, market structure and basic breakdowns from selected perspectives.

This section helps you quickly understand trends without first setting detailed filters or working with a specific company or vehicle.

02

Registration trends

The basic charts show how registrations change over time.

Follow monthly and yearly registrations to quickly see whether a market segment is growing, flat or declining.

The time view puts individual figures into context and helps separate one-off fluctuations from longer-term trends.

03

Makes and models

The make and model overview helps you quickly compare the positions of manufacturers and vehicles.

The charts show which makes or models feature most prominently in registrations and how their shares change.

Use this view for sales preparation, competitor monitoring and a quick assessment of interest in a particular market segment.

04

Regional view

The regional breakdown shows where registrations are concentrated and how different parts of the market compare.

Views by region and other administrative areas help identify places with a higher concentration of registrations or a different vehicle mix.

Regional context helps with planning sales activities, comparing local markets and selecting areas for more detailed analysis.

05

Fuel and categories

The powertrain and category overview shows the market’s composition by technical characteristics and vehicle segments.

Quickly examine the breakdown by fuel, category and other basic attributes to understand the structure of registrations.

This view connects with other Carbase.info tools for examining specific parts of the market in more detail.

06

Further work

Charts are the starting layer, from which you can move to more detailed tools.

After getting an overview of the data, continue to vehicle search, company search, VIN, STK or company vehicles, depending on the task you are addressing.

This public guide mainly explains the available views. You work with the actual data in the dashboard after opening the relevant tool.

How to read the data

Registrations and unique vehicles

A registration count is not automatically a count of unique vehicles. The same vehicle may appear in different records or periods. Compare the same filters, period and counting method; a row count alone does not establish the number of unique VINs.

Data period and import date

The latest registration date, the period covered and the import time are different facts. The newest record alone does not prove that a whole month is complete. A last-verified-data label indicates a fallback result; a missing period is not a confirmed zero.
